back/de vuelta
Oh, the sea! I don't know if it is because the sweetest memories of my childhood are from that month my family took every year to go to the beach, that I feel a strong connection and a sense of quiet energy when my feet are in the sand, I can smell the water and my eyes are focused on that wonderful blue/green ocean. My parents would rent a house and we just would go to the beach every day, if it rained we would go to the movies and eat croissants, my dad didn't have to go to work {he always worked long hours} and I think we all smiled more.
El mar! No se si es porque mis mas dulces recuerdos de la infancia son de ese mes que nos tomabamos para ir a la playa cada an~o, pero siento una conexion muy grande y una energia cuando mis pies tocan la arena, puedo oler la sal del agua y mis ojos ven ese verde/azul tan lindo del mar. Mis padres siempre alquiaban una casa y simplemente ibamos al mar todos los dias, si llovia, ibamos al cine y comiamos medialunas, mi papa no tenia que ir a trabajar {siempre trabajo mucho} y creo que sonreiamos mas.
This time was Fiona's first visit to the ocean, it was a little scary at the beginning for her, but then we could not get her out of the water, she loved it! And I loved seeing her enjoy the waves and the sand.
Esta fue la primera visita de Fiona al mar, la asusto un poco al principio, pero despues no la podiamos sacar del agua, le encanto! Y a mi me encanto verla disfrutar de las olas y la arena.
We had a wonderful time, the flight there and back was a bit challenging, to say the least {I don't recommend traveling with a toddler and a little dog together} , but it was great to be with family {Fiona loved her cousins}.
La pasamos muy bien, los vuelos de ida y vuelta no fueron los mas agradables {no recomiendo viajar con una nin~ita de casi dos an~os y un perrito juntos}, pero fue tan lindo estar con la familia {Fiona ama a sus primos}.
