This living room seems so inviting to me, the collection of bottles, the candles, the butterfly chairs {did you know they were designed by Argentineans?}, the fireplace...

The wallpaper, the lamp...but what sold me was the Neruda book {just in case you didn't know, I am a big Neruda fan}.
El empapelado, la lampara...pero lo que me convencio de esta foto fue el libro de Neruda {por si no sabias, me encanta Neruda}.

And talking about being comfortable...I met Jen on Saturday for the most lovely afternoon, we went thrifting  and then we had lunch together {those are our feet above, she loves shoes}.  She is warm, loving, generous and has such great taste!  I am really hoping for another visit soon.  Thank you, Jen, it was a true pleasure meeting you!
Y hablando de sentirme comoda...me encontre con Jen el sabado y pasamos una tarde divina, fuimos al negocio de antiguedades y despues almorzamos juntas {esos son nuestros pies, a ella le encantan los zapatos}.  Jen es calida, amorosa, generosa y tiene tan buen gusto!  Ya tengo unas ganas de que me visite de nuevo!.  Gracias, Jen!  fue realmente un placer conocerte.

Cooking is my latest creative love.  I find it so satisfying when Dave or Fiona like what I make.  The act of cooking is full of love to me.  And I wouldn't mind doing it in these kitchens.

Me estoy enamorando de la cocina como algo creativo.  Me encanta cuando a Dave o a Fiona le gusta lo que hago de comer.  El acto de cocinar esta lleno de amor para mi y no me vendria mal una de estas cocinas.

And here is my new clutch flower.  It seems like I feel like taking these at the beginning of the spring.  Last ones were around the same time last year. 
I love clutches but since Fiona was born I haven't had many chances of using them, I've been needing a bit more room if you know what I mean, with diapers, toys, etc. to carry around.

Y esta es mi ultima flor, armada con sobres {asi se les dice a este tipo de cartera?, no estoy segura}.  Parece que me dan ganas de sacar este tipo de fotos al principio de la primavera.  Las ultimas que saque fueron en la misma epoca el an~o pasado.
Me encantan estas carteras, pero desde que Fiona nacio no he tenido muchas oportunidades de usarlas.  Necesito un poco mas de lugar, no se si me entendes, con pan~ales, juguetes, vasos, etc. que cargo cada vez que salimos.

I laughed out loud when I saw this ad in my 1963 Better Homes and Gardens magazine.  In my classes I don't wear those shoes {or any shoes for that matter}, or my glasses and I don't carry my yoga book around. And we certainly don't drink 7up {though many times I saw people going to classes with a coffee in their hands}.

Me rei tanto cuando vi esta propaganda!  La revista es Better Home and Gardens del an~o 1963.  En mis clases yo no uso mocasines {o ningun otro zapato}, ni mis anteojos, ni tampoco voy llevando el libro de yoga en la mano.  Y nunca vi que nadie tome 7up {aunque si vi a varias personas llegar a clases con un cafe en la mano}.  Como dice aca:  que encuentres un golpe de energia rapido y refrescante hoy!
