we sold our little house, it was sad to say goodbye.
vendimos nuestra casita, fue triste la despedida.
this is a little note and flowers we left for the new owners, wishing them happiness. I'm going to miss this little house, we spent 9 years here as a family. We moved in when we were newlyweds, we made fiona here, we brought her here from the hospital, it is the only home she's ever known. I took countless photographs here, we moved furniture around, we had friends over, we laughed, we cried too, we made our family here. I know I'm being silly, home is where my family is, but I wanted to pay some kind of homage to the place that held us lovingly for these last years.
esta es una notita y flores que les dejamos a los nuevos dueños, deseandoles felicidad. voy a extrañar esta casita, nuestra familia vivió nueve años en ella. nos mudamos cuando recién nos habíamos casado, la hicimos a fiona en ella, la trajimos del hospital ahí, es el único hogar que conoce. saqué innumerable cantidad de fotos ahí (muchas están reflejadas en este blog), movimos muebles, invitamos amigos, nos reímos, también lloramos, creamos nuestra familia en esa casita. sé que estoy siendo un poco tonta, mi hogar es donde sea que esté mi familia, pero quería brindarle un homenaje a este lugar que nos abrazó amorosamente los últimos años.
