Esta es una pagina del ultimo numero de la revista cookie.  Me encanta como arreglaron las polaroids en la pared y ya quiero probarlo en mi casa.

And here is my new clutch flower.  It seems like I feel like taking these at the beginning of the spring.  Last ones were around the same time last year. 
I love clutches but since Fiona was born I haven't had many chances of using them, I've been needing a bit more room if you know what I mean, with diapers, toys, etc. to carry around.

Y esta es mi ultima flor, armada con sobres {asi se les dice a este tipo de cartera?, no estoy segura}.  Parece que me dan ganas de sacar este tipo de fotos al principio de la primavera.  Las ultimas que saque fueron en la misma epoca el an~o pasado.
Me encantan estas carteras, pero desde que Fiona nacio no he tenido muchas oportunidades de usarlas.  Necesito un poco mas de lugar, no se si me entendes, con pan~ales, juguetes, vasos, etc. que cargo cada vez que salimos.

record keeping/llevar cuentas

I am not very good at it.  I didn't write down when Fiona cut her first tooth, when she said her first word, when she stood up or walked for the first time.  I hope she forgives me when she grows up, and I hope the photographs {I am good at that} and all the love somewhat make up for the other things.  I always try, I started so many journals and this is her baby book:

No soy muy buena para eso.  No anote cuando Fiona corto el primer diente, ni cuando dijo la primera palabra, ni cuando se paro o camino por primera vez.  Espero que me perdone cuando crezca y espero que las miles de fotos {para eso soy buena} y todo el amor que le tenemos pueda compensar la falta de "datos".  Siempre intento hacerlo, empece un monton de diarios o journals y este es el libro de bebe de Fiona:

The cover, I dyed the pieces of fabric with tea and glued them.  And the first page, with her first "photo".
La tapa, ten~i los pedazos de tela en te y los pegue.  Y la primera pagina, con su primera "foto".

Another "photo" and the last page, which I have to finish, need to embroider her name and the swirls around it.  See?  the intention is there, I just need to follow through.

As you can see, there wasn't much time for crafting, but I just started this skirt for Fiona, my first piece of clothing!

Como pueden ver, no tuve mucho tiempo para crear, pero recien empece esta falda para Fiona, la primera vez que coso ropa!

Just to look at this photo makes me cringe, motherhood teaches me to let go, every day.  I wasn't sure I wanted to show this, but I said I wanted to post 'photos of life' and this is life.  She explores, investigates, learns and I pick up the mess, loving her, letting her grow and it's not always easy.
And this is life also, a little arrangement from flowers plucked from the garden, simple and quiet.  Love is in the details.

El solo hecho de mirar esta foto me pone nerviosa, ser madre me ensen~a a dejar ir a ciertas cosas, todos los dias.  No estaba muy segura si queria mostrar esto, pero yo dije que queria poner 'fotos de la vida' y esto es vida.  Ella explora, investiga, aprende y yo arreglo el lio, queriendola, dejandola crecer, no siempre es facil.
Y esto tambien es vida, un pequen~o arreglo floral con flores del jardin, simple y tranquilo.  El amor esta en los detalles.

As you can see, spring is still in my mind.  These are most of my favourite shoes, i loved playing with them and trying different shapes.  Some of them are old, some new, all are liked.  Next:  mini shoe flower.
